Our Club " The Tigers"

Picture
The club has members with a range of learning and physical disabilities and is open to everyone to come and try the sport for themselves. Whilst we enjoy our competitive success, we are keen to promote fun, friendship and inclusivity.

Billy Alexander Assistant Coach – “ It's been one of my most rewarding coaching roles which I have been a part of, providing many disabled people from across Ayrshire the chance to play and develop their skills in a competitive sport.”

James Doull Team Captain – “ Being part of the tigers means I now have a social group of like-minded friends, goals to achieve and the opportunity to continue to grow and improve my skills to play for the Scottish National Team.”

Brian Whittle MSP (South Scotland Region) – “Ayrshire Tigers are a phenomenal team. Having brought a team of MSPs to play against them, I can understand how they’ve come so far. They put a huge amount of effort and skill into every match and it’s been my pleasure to see them in action several times. I’m proud to support Ayrshire Tigers and look forward to seeing them continue to flourish.”

Gordon Rainey (Club Treasurer) – “South Ayrshire Access to Sport started the partnership with the Tigers because the people involved were enthusiastic about football and this sport is open to all ages both male and female. The club was started because we had nothing like this in the area. The team has gone from strength to strength through sheer determination to be among the best which is also shown through the commitment in there training. When the team started they finished at the bottom of the league last year and through the enthusiasm of the players coaches and support staff they have climbed to second in the league.

If you also believe that Ayrshire Tigers PFC is an important asset to the community in Ayrshire, please join us in making this project a success!
