Development League 

The league started in February 2022 and has been specifically designed to enhance knowledge, skills and confidence in powerchair football and was attended by players from across the country. Hosted at The Peak in Stirling, the day event allows for participants to build their confidence in playing powerchair football and meet new friends before playing in any of the National Leagues with their respective clubs.

The development league is the most recent addition to the SPFA calendar and the executive board were thrilled to see the day go down so well. Chairperson Craig Peattie said “It is great to see so many players from up and down the country, especially new faces who have never played before. Our associate clubs have bought into the league plus organisations across Scotland who are looking to create new clubs.”.
