Scottish Cup
Season 2018/2019

The Tigers travelled to Stirling on Sunday to play in the 2019 Scottish Cup. The Tigers were drawn in a group with league champions Clyde Alba, Glasgow Gladiators, and Riverside. In their first match against Alba the Tigers were well beaten with the tigers rarely threatening the Alba goal during the first half and the match finished 6-1 to Alba although Captain Doull managed to score a late consolation goal.

Due to results elsewhere the Tigers knew they had to beat Gladiators to play in the 3rd /4th place playoff match. The tigers controlled much of the first half but still found themselves 1-0 down at half-time due to conceding a sloppy goal early on. The tigers got back on level terms early on in the second half with Doull again scoring after an assist by Niven. Despite piling on the pressure the tigers couldn’t find the winner and the match ended in a draw. This concluded a rather disappointing 2018-2019 season for the tigers but they are already looking forward to next season which kicks off with the League Cup in September.
