February 2019 -Irwin Mitchell Solicitors Sponsorship
Ayrshire Tigers are delighted to announce a sponsorship deal with Irwin Mitchell Solicitors for the next 12 months.
Irwin Mitchell are a multi-award winning law firm. Today, they are the 11th largest law firm in the UK with 14 offices across the country.
Irwin Mitchell have a Disability Sports Program which has donated over £10,000 to a number of worthy causes. This funding aims to support and nurture disabled people and teams playing and supporting inclusive sport. They receive hundreds of applications from people playing a wide variety of disability sports such as Boccia, Powerchair Football, Amputee Football, Para Cycling and Wheelchair Rugby. One of our players also received a grant of £500 from Irwin Mitchell's Disability Sports Program which helped to fund his Strikeforce powerchair.
There are 12 million people with disabilities in the UK but only one in six takes part in sport regularly, which is something Irwin Mitchell want to change as part of their Don’t Quit, Do It campaign. The company’s work with clients following serious injury has shown them time and time again the enormous impact that sports can have, helping individuals achieve their potential in an environment that is both fun and challenging. Irwin Mitchell’s goal is to promote the profile of disability sports across the country and make it something that everyone can be part of.
We are delighted that Irwin Mitchell have agreed to be our shirt sponsors for this season and that we will be working with them over the next 12 months particularly as their ethos is closely aligned to our own.
