MDUK National League 2019/20 – Outcome and Update on 2020/2021 season.
At the SPFA AGM on the 7th of June the outcome of the 2019/20 Premiership and Championship season was announced. Following discussion and a vote by the SPFA committee it was agreed to end both leagues due to Covid-19 with the outcome decided by current standings.
This means that Tayside Dynamos are crowned Champions of the Premiership and Riverside win the championship. Congratulations to both teams, well deserved over the season. Ayrshire Tigers came 3rd in the Premiership.

At this point there is no decision on when the 2020/21 season will commence. The SPFA are following guidance given by the SFA, who in turn liaise with the Scottish Government. The SPFA will also liaise with FIPFA and EPFA and obviously they need to fully consider the needs of the all the players, many of whom are in the shielding category.
The club know everyone will be desperate to get back playing but the club won't risk the health and wellbeing of players to do so. We are in contact with South Ayrshire Council regarding when Whitletts will reopen. Further updates will appear on the website and facebook.
